BERKELEY, CA (CelebrityAccess) — peermusic, Premier Muzik, All Right Music and Global Master Rights announced they are teaming up to launch a new neighbouring rights joint venture.
The deal, spearheaded by peermusic Deputy CEO Mary Megan Peer, will combine the staff and services of all four companies, creating one of the largest neighbouring rights companies in the world.
peermusic, which did not have an in-house neighbouring rights team prior to the deal, said it plans to retain the staff of the existing companies and bolster it with additional staff from in technology, finance and legal.
All three acquired firms will continue to operate under their current names while identifying as peermusic companies.
When joined, the companies will represent a client roster that includes more than 2500+ performers, including Rihanna, Billie Eilish, Imagine Dragons, Metallica, Lady A, Panic! At The Diwsco, as well as more than 300 record labels.
