LEXINGTON, KY (CelebrityAccess) — The Memphis hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia is lined up for their first indoor arena concert since the pandemic kicked off when they perform at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky on December 11th.
According to ABC affiliate WTVQ, the show will be socially distanced, with Rupp Arena’s 21,017 capacity reduced to just 15%, approximately 3,150 concert-goers and event staff.
Masks will be required for the event and tickets will be sold in pods of four people or less via Ticketmaster, according to an Instagram post by Mafia member Juicy J.
“We have been in contact with the KY State Department of Health for many weeks working out the details and coming up with a plan that fulfills the safety protocols recommended by the CDC and the Commonwealth of Kentucky,” Lexington Center Corporation CEO and President Bill Owen told WTVQ. “We are confident that the measures we have put in place will provide a safe environment for patrons to come out and enjoy live entertainment. We are excited for this opportunity to reopen our doors and welcome concert-goers back to Rupp Arena!”
Rapper Project Pat, Gem, and The Real Gates are also on the bill. Sean Da Don has been announced as the host.
