NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Performing Rights Organization SESAC announced the winners of the 2021 Nashville Music Awards, including Lee Brice, who won SESAC Song of the Year for his hit “One Of Them Girls,” written by Lee Brice and published by Warner Chappell Music.
Niko Moon was named SESAC’s Songwriter of the Year for the first time on the strength of his chart-topping hit “Gone” recorded by Dierks Bentley while Walker Hayes’ 16-week #1 viral hit “Fancy Like,” written by affiliate Josh Jenkins and published by SMACK Songs and Kobalt, picked up the win for Sync Song of the Year.
“Songwriting and music publishing are at the very core of the music business, and we at SESAC love that we get to honor those contributions,” said Scott Jungmichel, President and COO, SESAC PRO. “We are happy to celebrate our top performed songs over the past year.”

In light of the ongoing pandemic, the awards were held virtually this year, with winners announced on SESAC’s website.
