LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The famed Blue Note Jazz Club brand is expanding operations in Los Angeles with the opening of a brand-new venue tailored to the market.
Located on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, Blue Note Los Angeles will feature two performance spaces: a main room with a capacity for 200 fans and the smaller “B Side” room, accommodating up to 100 patrons.
In addition to live music, the venue will offer a full-service kitchen and beverage menu, serving brunch and dinner throughout the week. The Blue Note’s new Los Angeles location is expected to officially open its doors in March 2025.
“We are excited to bring the Blue Note experience to Los Angeles, offering the same intimate atmosphere and world-class performances that have defined our New York club,” says Tsion Bensusan, COO of Blue Note Entertainment Group.
Blue Note Los Angeles will also continue the brand’s partnership with five-time Grammy-winning artist Robert Glasper, who will curate performances across jazz, R&B, and hip-hop at the Blue Note’s Los Angeles location in March 2025.
As part of Blue Note’s Los Angeles expansion, the company has also confirmed a partnership with the Hollywood Bowl. The storied Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival will be rebranded as the Blue Note Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl.
Presented by the LA Phil, the 2025 edition of the festival will take place on June 14 and 15 at the Hollywood Bowl. The full lineup will be revealed on February 18, alongside the complete Hollywood Bowl 2025 season announcement.
“This collaboration represents a powerful union of two iconic institutions dedicated to celebrating jazz and its profound impact on music and culture,” says Steven Bensusan, President of Blue Note Entertainment Group.
