AUSTIN (CelebrityAccess) – Noise artist Danny Tantrum, shocked fans during a performance at The Coral Snake in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday (December 18). What started as a routine set quickly turned into an unforgettable — and disturbing — moment when Tantrum defecated on stage and proceeded to consume it in front of the audience.
The controversial act unfolded during a show that also featured Schizing Out and Terminull. As fans watched in disbelief, Tantrum sat on a stool with a hospital pan in front of him, defecating into it before reaching in and eating his own feces. Efforts by the venue staff to intervene were unsuccessful, and the performance was cut short as a result of the incident.
Many in the punk and noise music communities are comparing this act to the notorious late GG Allin, an artist infamous for his extreme onstage behavior, including similar stunts. Tantrum’s shocking display has sparked outrage and concern among both fans and industry professionals, with the Coral Snake issuing a warning to other local venues to reconsider booking the artist for future performances.
