NENZING, Austria (CelebrityAccess) — A man opened fire on a crowd at a concert with local artists in the Austrian town of Nenzing, killing two and leaving 11 injured, some seriously.
According to the BBC, the man, who has not been identified, had earlier engaged in a loud argument with a woman in an adjacent parking lot before he retrieved a gun from his car and fired into the crowd of approximately 150 people in an apparently random fashion.
The man then returned to the parking lot where he apparently killed himself. State broadcaster ORF said the weapon appeared to be a rifle.
The mayor of Nenzing, Florian Kasseroler told the BBC that the concert was a private event held by a motorcycle club and was a regular event that had been held for the past 10 years without incident. – Staff Writers
