ST. LOUIS, MO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The 55th Annual convention for the International Festivals & Events Association is set for September 15-17, 2010 at St. Louis's Union Station Marriott.
This year's event will see some changes to the convention's schedule and 'footprint', with the addition of new social functions and events, including the IFEA Opening Breakfast Reception, the Dixie Flag Event Services Team Hospitality Suite and the Connections Cafe.
Conference attendees will also be provided with no-fee access to a behind-the-scenes visit to the Saint Louis Art Fair, one of the most competitive art shows in the U.S. Held annually, the fair attracts over 1,500 artist, including 165 visual artists from around the world.
The keynote for the this year's event will be "Global Outreach: How the Festivals & Events Industry is Touching the World", and will be delivered by William O'Toole. O'Toole is an international events development specialist. He assists councils, cities, regions, countries and corporate clients with developing and expanding long-term event programs. For the last five years O'Toole has advised the Supreme Commission for Tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the development of their new festival program throughout the thirteen provinces of that country
