WEST PALM BEACH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG Live has countered Live Nation's acquisition of Florida-based promoter by opening an office of their own in West Palm Beach and appointing former Fantasma vet John Valentino as the head of operations there.
Valentino is an veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the region where he served as the executive vice president for the fiercely-independent promoter Fantasma, along with Jon Stoll who recently passed after an extended illness.
According to Billboard, Valentino will be joined by many of his former Fantasma compatriots, including George Perley Fantasma's director of productions, Kathy Bohan former Fantasma office manager/regional comptroller and former Fantasma marketing manager Amanda Ances.
"We look forward to carrying on the spirit of the way we did business with Fantasma founder Jon Stoll for more than a quarter century," Valentino said in a statement.
