Azealia Banks May Have Been Dropped By Primary Talent

LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Just days after losing her spot on a UK festival bill over a series of offensive tweets, rapper Azealia Banks may have been dropped by her agency, Primary Talent.

As first reported by music news site FACT, Banks no longer appears on Primary Talent's represented artists page and her own Primary Talent page now shows a page not found error. A rep from Primary Talent did not respond to a request for comment.

Banks made headlines last week when she launched into a series of racist and homophobic tweets against the British Pakistani Zayn Malik and claiming that he borrowed some ideas from her own music videos, as well as generally insulting remarks about British hip hop. She later apologized, but her Twitter account has since been suspended and she was dropped from the lineup of London’s Born & Bred festival.

Banks is no stranger to courting controversy over Twitter and has drawn criticism in the past for her penchant for anti-gay remarks, including a 2015 incident where she leveled homophobic slurs at a Delta Airlines flight attendant during an altercation. – Staff Writers
