NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Brian Doyle and Rob Kos of Doyle-Kos Entertainment have sold 50 per cent of their company to Irving Azzoff's Front Line Management. The newly named company will be known as Doyle-Kos Management and remain in New York. The deal also gives Azoff's management company an east coast branch for the first time.
Doyle-Kos manage Hall & Oates, Rick Springfield, Rusted Root and newly inked Gladys Knight, who was actually signed after the Doyle-Kos/Azoff deal was completed in September.
The negotiations had been brewing since this past January. "The more we talked to Irving," Kos told
CelebrityAccess, "the more excited we got, and then we took the plunge."
The deal allows Doyle-Kos to take advantage of Front Line's assets as well as help in signing new artists such as Knight. –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
