AUCKLAND, New Zealand (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Justin Bieber has pulled the plug on a show set for Auckland in November, citing "unforeseen circumstances" as the reason.
Bieber had been on the books for a pair of shows at Vector Arena; Saturday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 24th but the show's promoter, Frontier Touring, announced that the Sunday show is a no-go.
While a reason beyond "unforeseen circumstances" was not announced, ticket sales may not have been enough to support two shows. Customers who purchased tickets to the Sunday night performance are being offered a ticket for Saturday and as of today, blocks of ten tickets to the Saturday night show were still available for purchase.
Bieber has been having a rocky year, plagued by a number of public relations fiascos, including being caught on video urinating in a mop bucket in a New York Restaurant. As well, in August, a Bieber performance at the Prudential Center in Newark left some concert-goers unsatisfied, with one reviewer describing parts of his performance as "sluggish" and "lazy," and noting that he appeared to be lip syncing. – Staff Writers
