LOS ANGELES (VIP NEWS) — Following a spate of cancellations due to Elton John's recent illness, the Face 2 Face tour has again been sidelined, this time due to Billy Joel's health.
According to a press release from Live Nation, Joel is unable to tour due to undisclosed "medical reasons." As a result, yesterdays show in San Jose, CA, has been postponed.
Ticketholders are being asked to hold on to their tickets until more information about the rescheduled date is available.
The news of the cancellation comes on the heels of last Saturday's postponed concert in Oakland, CA, due to John's illness.
John, who was suffering from a combination of influenza and a serious case of e-coli bacterial infection, has been released from the hospital and is "making a good recovery," according to a statement posted at the singer's website.
