Capitol Hill Block Party Festival Announces Initial Lineup

SEATTLE, WA (CelebrityAccess) — Capitol Hill Block Party announced the partial lineup of confirmed performers for the 2017 festival, with hip-hop super group Run The Jewels, DJ/producer Diplo and indie-folk rockers Lord Huron leading the bill.

The festival, which is scheduled for July 21-23 in Seattle, WA, will also feature performances by Angel Olsen, Wolf Parade, Snakehips, Thundercat, Mura Masa, Danny Brown, Lizzo, Trippy Turtle, Whitney, Perfume Genius, Noname, Austra, Manatee Commune, Mykki Blanco, Cloud Nothings, Phantoms, MAGIC GIANT, Julie Byrne, Lucy Dacus, Torres, Cherry Glazerr, Kyle Craft, Naked Giants, Flor, Zoolab, SLOUCHER, and Saint Claire

Now in its 21st year, the festival will continue to support local arts and political organizations such as the Vera Project, community radio station KEXP and The Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce.

"It's an honor to have Run The Jewels and Diplo return to the festival, and we welcome Lord Huron for the first time," said Capitol Hill Block Party Owner and Producer Jason Lajeunesse. "We are showcasing so many fantastic artists this year to ring in our 21st anniversary. Run The Jewels dropped an incredible record last month, and as a fan of Killer Mike's political voice, he couldn't be performing at a better time for our community."
