SPENCER, Iowa (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — VenuWorks and the Clay County Iowa Fair Board have signed a new five-year agreement with VenuWorks to continue its management contract at the Clay County Regional Events Center (CCREC). The venue is owned by the Clay County Fair Association, Inc., the nonprofit organization that manages the Clay County Fair.
The venue's current general manager, Scott Hallgren will continue to serve in that capacity. Hallgreen has been with the venue since in opened in 2003.
In 2012, the venue hosted 340 events and had 440 event and use dates. Concerts in recent years have included performances by Miranda Lambert, Oak Ridge Boys, and Glenn Campbell, as well as TNA Wrestling and Church Basement Ladies. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
