NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) The 27th annual CMJ Music Marathon will be held October 16-20 in New York. For the first time in over a decade, CMJ’s daytime events will be headquartered in downtown Manhattan at the Puck Building and multiple venues at New York University; NYU will also become a co-sponsor. At night, CMJ Music Marathon will once again take over 50 premier clubs and music venues throughout New York City, featuring performances from the best new artists from the worlds of alternative, rock, electronica, hip-hop, metal, Americana, world, jazz and more.

NYU has become a sponsor of daytime programming through its Steinhardt Music Business Program in the Department of Music & Performing Arts Professions and the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music in the Tisch School of the Arts.
