DMX Arrested On Multiple Warrants Ahead Of Radio City Music Hall Show

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper DMX was arrested in New York on outstanding warrants just ahead of a performance at Radio City Music Hall on Friday night.

According to the Associated Press, also known as Earl Simmons, was taken into custody on allegations that he owes more than $400,000 in child support. As well, he has an outstanding warrant in White Plains, New York for allegedly jumping bail, and a third warrant from Yonkers which alleges that DMX is an aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operator. Finally, a criminal complaint has been lodged against DMX in connection with an April 5th robbery at a gas station in Newark, NJ.

During that incident, a member of DMX's entourage allegedly pointed a gun at a man and demanded money while DMX allegedly seized $3,200 from the invidivual before fleeing with his compatriots.

DMX had been set to perform in the June 26th "Masters of Ceremony" show, featuring Mase, Rakim, Shabba Ranks, Pete Rock, the Lox, CL Smooth, Brand Nubian and Das EFX.

DMX's past legal troubles include charges of animal cruelty, dog fighting, drug possession, weapon charges, DUI, and reckless driving. – Staff Writers
