DRAPER, Utah (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Its been a while since forward progress has been made. The unfinished project was donated to the city in 1996 and it has languished since.

The Draper city council well examine options to try to complete the project. Numerous hurdles yet remain, including site plans, zoning, engineering evaluations of the current progress.

According to the Salt Lake Tribune, a number of proposals for the future of the project have been floated and Terri Purles, the fund raising chairwoman has put forward three price options — the cheapest being converting the amphitheater into an indoor/outdoor facility that could accommodate up to 1,500 visitors.

Presently, there is about 1 million available for the project but some members of the community are concerned with the price of ongoing upkeep for the amphitheater. Purles though is still bully on the project "The arts are such an important part of a growing and developing community," Purles told the Tribune.
