(CelebrityAccess News Service) — At his February 25 US Bankruptcy Court hearing, three of former concert promoter Barry Fey's creditors said that forcing Fey into Chapter 7 liquidation may be the only way they will be able to collect on the money owed, reports the Denver Post. Fey has not repaid debts from his Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Fey's creditors filed a petition in December to force him into Chapter 7 liquidation.
Neither Fey nor his attorney appeared at the hearing. Fey has until Monday, March 1, to file a response to the Chapter 7 petition. –Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
