FT. LAUDERDALE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Florida promoter Don Cohen, active in the business for more than 30 years has died at the age of 55.
Cohen was the founder of the Musician's Exchange nightclub in Ft. Lauderdale, a venue that was instrumental in the Florida music scene. Don was also known for the Riverwalk Blues & Music Festival which brought some major names blues, jazz, roots music & R&B to the region.
Cohen wore many hats during his career, including that of a talent coordinator, retailer, promoter, booker and artist manager.
