STURGIS, SD (CelebrityAccess) — A Sturgis club that billed itself as the “world’s largest biker bar” and which was the subject of a reality television program, burned to the ground early Tuesday.
According to the Argus Leader, Firefighters found heavy smoke when they responded to the fire at approximately 12:30 AM on Tuesday and said that the fire was exacerbated by high winds and may have been fueled by and 500 gallons of grain alcohol stored at an adjacent distillery, which was also damaged in the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, authorities said.
The bar, which was featured on the truTV series “Full Throttle Saloon,” was a central feature of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. – Staff Writers
