Gridiron Stadium Network Retains Apregan Group, Inc.

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) –The Gridiron Stadium Network (GSN) has retained consultant Jeff Apregan of Apregan Group, Inc., it was announced today by Steve Eckerson, Chairman of the Gridiron Stadium Network and Director of Sales and Marketing for Qwest Field in Seattle.

Apregan will work with GSN as an advocate to identify new business opportunities and assist promoters and agencies to develop, produce and promote a variety of events at GSN member venues, including concerts, motor sports, festivals and corporate functions. A principal goal of GSN is to optimize opportunities for and welcome new audiences to its members' stadiums.

Jeff Apregan, who has produced, promoted and managed live entertainment events throughout North America for over twenty-five years, said he is looking forward to the challenge his new position brings. "Promoters, artists and agencies are rediscovering these stadiums as the excellent venues they are for live entertainment," said Apregan.

"We hope to repeat the success of recent shows at GSN venues," said Apregan, referring to a Kenny Chesney tour that grossed over $3.4 million each in Pittsburgh and Detroit and $2.8 million in Seattle, Bon Jovi in Pittsburgh which grossed nearly $3.1 million, The Vans Warped Tour in Houston, and a Green Day concert at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA that grossed over $2 million.

Upcoming shows at GSN venues include dates with performers such as the Rolling Stones and Dave Matthews Band.

Founded in 1993, Apregan Group provides a variety of entertainment consulting services including strategic planning, talent buying, tour promotion and marketing, event budgeting and risk assessment. The company specializes in the development and execution of entertainment programs and initiatives for artists, venues, organizations and corporations.

The Gridiron Stadium Network was formed in 2005 as an advocacy organization, to lobby industry, business and community leaders to insure awareness of the vast opportunities available to them at the state-of-the-art facilities of GSN members and to pursue the expansion of the use of the GSN member venues for new sports, entertainment, public and private events.
