It Only Took Two Decades: Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly Tour Together

CLEVELAND (CelebrityAccess) It only took 20 years for the two bands synonymous with hard-rocking Irish and Celtic music, Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, to collaborate on a tour.

The aptly named Summer Tour 2018 kicks off June 1 at Cleveland’s Jacobs Pavilion and the mayhem continues through June 23 at Gilford, N.H.’s Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. In between it hits markets like Denver, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh and, of course, Philadelphia, where the bands play Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing June 21.

Dropkick Murphys have just wrapped their St. Patrick’s Day Tour including their annual hometown run of Boston shows with Agnostic Front and Bim Skala Bim, as well a sold-out European run. Flogging Molly is wrapping its Life Is Good Spring 2018 Tour, selling out more than half of its dates, and is set to join the Salty Dog Cruise April 20.

Dropkick Murphys are supporting their album 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory. Flogging Molly is touring its album Life Is Good, the band’s first album in six years, and celebrating the group’s 20th anniversary.
