NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Joey Welz, best known for his piano and vocal work with Bill Haley's Comets, has followed up his Katrina benefit song "Katrina (New Orleans will survive)" with a new benefit song, "Plug the Hole."
As virtually everyone knows, the Gulf coast region has been devastated by the effects of a yet-to-be-plugged leaking oil well. Joey is hoping that his new offering will help raise both money and awareness of charitable efforts coalescing on behalf of the region.
Produced by Gabriel & Welz, the song is published by Ursula/Slack Music for BMI and proceeds will go to help the Gulf Coast Releif Fund.
