LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — If you've never checked out Wolfgang's Vault, its worth the time. The site offers a solid collection of vintage concerts that can be downloaded as audio files that can be downloaded for free, along with other memorabilia such as concert posters from the collection of legendary promoter Bill Graham.
The site drew the ire of a number of the bands that were being featured on the site, and the bands such as The Grateful Dead along with Carlos Santana and members of Led Zeppelin and The Doors filed suit in 2006 against the site seeking to block further downloads and unspecified damages.
Well, the suit has been partially resolved. An agreement has been reached with labels Sony BMG, BMG Music and Arista Records, but oddly, not the artists themselves to resolve the matter. Details of the settlement were not disclosed Billboard reported.
In June, Wolfgang's Vault had reached a settlement with UMG that allowed the site to continue to offer downloads. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
