PITTSBURGH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Lance Jones, the general manager of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Pavilion and a vice president of Live Nation has announced that he has resigned from his position, effective February 1st.
According to the Pittsburgh, Post-Gazette, Jones tendered his resignation, stating that:
"After some months of self-reflection, I have decided to leave Live Nation Pittsburgh as of Feb. 1. This is a personal decision borne of my desire to change career directions and seek a new path. I have had a tremendous ride at Live Nation and the entities that came before.
"I have had the privilege of working with some incredibly talented people in this industry over the past 17 years, including, of course, the Live Nation staff on the local and regional levels."
Jones has been with the venue since January 1991 when he signed on as the marketing director before working his way to the position of general manager in 1994. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
