Layoffs Hit Warner

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Warner Bros. Records staffers were hit with a round of layoffs that left 10-13 fewer employees at the label.

Among the terminated staffers was senior VP of sales and business affairs Dave Stein, who'd spent more than 25 years at the label, Variety reported.

Susan Genco, senior VP of legal and business affairs for the label also took her exit although her departure was reportedly voluntary.

The latest round of staff cuts weren't limited to just Warner Bros. and numerous divisions in Warner music Group were downsizing staff as well.

WMG's catalog operation Rhino Records took the worst of it and saw approximately a 20% staff reduction, leaving entire departments shuttered and others operating with minimal staff, Variety said. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
