LINCOLN, NE (CelebrityAccess) — Police have launched an investigation into the claims of a 21-year-old woman who alleges that she was sexually assaulted while backstage at the Chris Brown concert at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Monday night.
Police spokeswoman Katie Flood told the Lincoln Journal-Star that the woman reported that she was assaulted at 11:39 p.m. and alleged that the attack occurred between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
Police declined to provide additional details about the attack, including the names of the suspect or victim, stating that such disclosures could hamper the investigation. Police said they have identified a suspect, but no arrests have been made and no charges filed in the case.
Brown, who was headlining the concert, started his performance at 9:35 p.m. and performed for a crowd of about 6,000 until about 10:50 p.m., the Journal-Star said. – Staff Writers
