LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham has postponed a series of solo dates in the UK after suffering a back injury.
A statement on his website explains the postponement: "Lindsey Buckingham unfortunately needs to postpone his upcoming UK shows as his guitarist has severely injured his back and is not able to presently perform. All tickets will be honored at the soon to be announced rescheduled dates."
The tour would have started on December 8 in Birmingham and gone through December 19 at London Palladium. The tour was scheduled in support of Lindsey's sixth solo effort Seeds We Sow, which hit stores on September 5.
Reps for the rock icon released the news in an official statement earlier this month, promising that Buckingham will make up the dates, according to RTTNews.
