PENSACOLA, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Headlining act Linkin Park has been forced to pull out of their final date for 2011, the DeLuna Music Fest, due to health issues.
According to a post on the band's co-frontman Chester Bennington injured his shoulder while on tour in Asia and will require surgery.
"As much as we were looking forward to rocking our final date of the year with our Florida fans, Chester has been advised to have immediate shoulder surgery as a result of an injury he sustained during our recent tour in Asia." the post read. "I'm sorry for any disappointment this has caused and look forward to seeing you again soon."
With the festival scheduled for October 14-16, it doesn't leave much time for festival organizers to secure a replacement though they say they are actively looking for an act to fill the Oct 16 headlining slot. Refunds for tickets are being offered. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
