Live Nation Announces Summer Tour Lineup


LOS ANGELES – (CelebrityAccess MediaWire)Live Nation, the world’s largest live music company, announced today a preliminary slate of summer concert tours that includes artists as diverse as Alan Jackson/Brooks & Dunn, Beyonce, Brad Paisley, Chicago/America, Dave Matthews Band, Def Leppard/Styx/Foreigner, Fall Out Boy, Family Values (Korn/Evanescence), Genesis, Gwen Stefani, Jimmy Buffet, John Mayer, Kenny Chesney, Ozzfest, Poison, Projekt Revolution (Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance), The Police, Rascal Flatts, Roger Waters, Rush, Stevie Nicks/Chris Isaak, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill and Toby Keith.

The summer tour schedule is preceded by a number of successful first quarter tours including The Who, who after a 51-date North American trek which ran through the first quarter 2007, are embarking on a 35-date European tour this week; Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, who staged a highly successful 50-date U.S. tour; Josh Groban, a global touring powerhouse with shows in Europe, Australia, the Pacific Rim, South Africa and the U.S. scheduled for the remainder of the year and Rascal Flatts, who continues to gain momentum posted the Number 8 grossing tour overall in 2006 according to industry analysts, have already played a number of successful dates this year and will continue this summer.
