LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The ILMC is preparing to kick off in March for its 19th edition. Extending from March 9-11 the ILMC, or International Live Music Conference is an annual industry event held in London. The theme chosen for this year's event, perhaps a little too close to home for some is "The Godfather".
Although there are pre-events such as association meetings for numerous trade groups such as IAAM, the main event doesn't start officially till Friday. This year, attendees will be able to participate in numerous discussion groups and panels on a diverse range of topics such as emerging European markets and green-friendly events to insurance considerations and music publishing.
Attendees will also be invited to a number of private concerts held at different places around the city, featuring performances from some of today's hottest and up-and-coming acts.
Other events to attend include a Texas Hold' Em Poker tournament, an game of indoor football (The English kind) and the annual Arthur awards and dinner will be held.
The ILMC is an invitation-only event. ALL new delegates must be nominated by two existing ILMC delegates, who have attended on more than one occasion. All new delegates must be registered no later than 6pm GMT on Tuesday, 6th March 2007.
