LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Television rep Mitch Gossett has left Cunningham Escott Slevin Doherty where he represented Miley "Hannah Montana" Cyrus and pere Billy Ray and headed for UTA, bringing the Cyrus clan with him, Variety has reported.
Gossett, who focuses on young actors, marks UTA's first foray into the active youth market. In addition to Cyrus, Gossett reps a number of young thespians: Hunter Parrish, AnnaSophia Robb, and Chelsea Staubb, Taylor Momsen, Victoria Justice, Cody Linley, Madison Pettis, Andrea Bowen & Demi Lovato, all of whom are expected to join Gossett at UTA.
Gossett served a seven-year tenure as vice president of theatrical while at CESD and ran his own management firm, Gossett Entertainment prior to joining CESD.
"Working with Mitchell is a logical extension of our core belief of finding and developing emerging talent," said UTA chairman Jim Berkus. "We are also excited about the opportunities that present themselves for these artists in the music, fashion and marketing universes." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
