LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Tom Cantone, Vice President of Sports and Entertainment, Mohegan Sun, has been appointed to the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Conference Advisory Board by Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., President and CEO of the American Gaming Association.
G2E, the world's largest tradeshow and conference for the casino entertainment and gaming industry, attracted 30,173 audited attendees last year.
With more than 25 years of experience in the gaming, entertainment and hospitality industries, Cantone oversees sports and entertainment bookings at Mohegan Sun's three entertainment venues – Mohegan Sun Arena, The Cabaret Theatre and Wolf Den.
Cantone will work with fellow board members Clinton Ford Billups Jr., President of CFB Productions Inc., and Pat Merl, Director of Gaming Outreach for UNLV International Gaming Institute, to plan educational sessions and special events for casino entertainment executives attending G2E 2008, Nov. 18-20, 2008, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
