(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rock band My Morning Jacket will be joining forces with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra this summer for the outdoor “Pop’s on The Edge” series by the Charles River on June 21 and 22.
The collaboration will add a distinct depth and intensity to the music of the band’s already-unique album, Z.
The Pop’s “On The Edge” series stems from the mission to bring classical music to audiences of all styles. The popularization of classical music first began with playing classical staples alongside more popular songs, and has evolved into marrying modern bands with the orchestra.
