Paul Beard To Step Down At Bass Performance Hall

FORT WORTH, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -— Paul Beard has announced that he's resigning from his position as Managing Director of the Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performance Hall, a position Beard has held for 15 years, effective on June 13th.

According to Pegasus News, Beard intends to ensure that plans for the upcoming 2008-2009 season are finalized and tickets are on sale at the box office before he takes his final bow at the Hall.

"The 15 years I’ve worked at Bass Performance Hall have been the most satisfying of my career," Beard said "What we’ve accomplished here is a point of pride for everyone involved. Bass Performance Hall is the envy of the arts world, not only because of its beauty and its versatility as a performance venue, but because of the vibrant arts and entertainment community that surrounds it.

"Being in this city has been a wonderful experience for my entire family," Beard added "Each of us has prospered, and for me personally, it has been an incredible privilege and opportunity to serve this amazing town and the people in it."

In July, Beard will start at his new position as Managing Director of the Pearl Brewery Complex in San Antonio. The Bass Performance Hall will conduct an "extensive" search for a new candidate to fill Beard's post. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
