(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Europe’s aural rock masters Portishead have reportedly headed back into the studio to record their first album in eight years.
The band is nearing completion of their third full-length album, and their first since 1997’s “Portishead.” They won critical acclaim for their 1995 debut album “Dummy.”
Portishead has consistently denied rumors that they had parted ways over the past few years.
The band will make their first live appearance in years at the February 19th Oxfam tsunami benefit concert with Massive Attack, Robert Plant and The Coral at the Bristol Academy. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
