(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) —
A never-before-seen exhibit featuring the best of punk rock photography will be unveiled at the Vans Warped Tour this summer. The Punk Rock Museum's photo exhibit, taken by the world's top music photographers, is part of the "500 Greatest Shots of Rock n' Roll" collection, and includes candid images of Billy Idol, The Sex Pistols, Sum 41, The Ramones, Debbie Harry and Blondie.
The photo exhibit, highlighting the best of Punk conspirators, provocateurs and legends living and dead, doubles as fan shrine. Warped Tour attendees will have the opportunity to share a wall with the legends of Punk music when they add
their own photos, tags, and graffiti to the special photo wall. The exhibit also includes special tributes to the New York City nightclub CBGBs and Punk Magazine.
The privately held "500 Greatest Shots of Rock n' Roll" photo collection, housed in Las Vegas, features photographers David LaChappelle, Bob Gruen, Mick Rock, Roberta Bayley, Steve Blucsh, Richard Godlis, among others. The juggernaut photo collection, gathered from 50 years of photo archives and private collections, is slated to tour North America and Europe in 2006.–Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
