Rinaldo Ceases Booking Contract With Club Cafe

PITTSBURGH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Steel City promoter Jon Rinaldo of Joker Productions is done with booking shows at Club Cafe, a cozy venue on the south side of Pittsburgh and will focus on booking shows at the larger Diesel, also in downtown Pittsburgh, the Post-Gazette reported.

Rinaldo, who formerly booked the former Club Laga and The World had little to say about his exit, telling the Post-Gazette that the "Ownership of Club Cafe wants to move in another direction and so do I."

The 150 capacity Club Cafe bills itself as Pittsburgh's premier "wired" music nightclub and has operated under that name since 1947 with a recent renovation in 1999. The club has an state of the art control room and is currently working on producing television content as well as maintaining an active live performance calendar.

Multi-level Diesel features a traditional nightclub with state of the art audio and lighting systems, as well as a live performance space and features music 5 nights a week with an eclectic lineup for live performances and DJS. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
