WILTSHIRE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ryan Adams has dropped his plans for a concert at the neolithic "Stonehenge" monument in Salisbury.
The singer/songwriter had planned to perform at the historic landmark as a aprt of the Salisbury International Arts.
Managers for the landmark however, were reluctant and urged Adams to choose a different location, citing concerns about public safety and traffic concerns. Adams however, killed the entire gig instead of finding a new spot.
Stonehenge director Peter Carson stated, "We are very sorry that Ryan Adams will not be able to perform at Stonehenge, but the demand for tickets was both unprecedented and unforeseen, and we have to put public safety first." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
