LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The BBC is reporting that US rockers Bon Jovi will be the inaugural act at the O2 Dome (Formerly the Millennium Dome) in London on June 24th. This will be their only UK date on their most recent tour.
The newly-refurbed 23,000 seat arena, having undergone a 1.2 billion dollar refurb, has been specifically designed to acoustically accommodate modern music performances.
Other bands scheduled to perform at the arena this year include The Stones, Scissor Sisters and Justin Timberlake as well as non-music events such as ice hockey and Olympic events when London hosts the 2012 Summer games. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
