VANCOUVER (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Singer-songwriter Carly Simon has announced that she's pulling out of all of her remaining Lilith dates, after breaking her foot.
Simon had been headlining at a number of dates, including the Comcast Center in Mansfield, Mass., on July 30; the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J., on July 31; and the Comcast Theatre in Hartford on Aug. 1.
"Last week, Simon suffered an injury by seriously fracturing and breaking her foot, which will prevent her from performing at these shows." said Lilith organizers in an announcement posted on the festival's website.
It's been a rough return for Lilith, which is touring for the first time after of a decade-long hiatus. Slow ticket sales have forced the cancellation of a number of dates on the tour and other headliners such as Kelly Clarkson and Norah Jones have also backed out of their scheduled dates. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
