(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Sonny Burgess has signed with the Dallas-based label CPI Records. His first single "Jesus and Bartenders" off his sophomore project, Stronger, has just been shipped to radio. The debut CPI album Stronger has a street date of October 4; distribution will be handled nationally by CBuJ Enterprises, Inc.
"We decided to release ‘Jesus and Bartenders’ as the first single simply from the amazing reactions we would get from the audience after I would perform it live," Burgess said. "People would come up to me after a show and almost always say something about that song. It is all about the fans and how the music makes them feel. If they dig it, you are probably doing something right."
