BRISTOL, UK (CelebrityAccess) — The Agency Group announced that they have acquired the Bristol-based EDM boutique agency Futureboogie. Futureboogie represents a number of acts that are household names to anyone familiar with electronic music, including; Bonobo, Nightmares on Wax, Quantic and Crazy P.
Futureboogie CEO Steve Nickolls will join TAG as an agent and will bring two of his assistants – Abbe Rodgers and Jenny Wade – with him. The trio will continue to be based in the Stokes Croft area of Bristol.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Nickolls launched the agency in 2000, with veteran UK DJ Will Holland AKA, Quantic as his first signing. Since then, the agency's roster has grown to include twenty five different DJs and live acts. Recent developments with the agency have seen them branch into artist management, with UK House pioneers Crazy P as their first client; and the launch of the Futureboogie Recordings record label as well. – Staff Writers
