Texas Storms End Ronstadt Concert Early

SAN ANTONIO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Storms in Texas wreaked havoc at an outdoor concert by Linda Ronstadt, as the singer was forced to leave the stage after only two songs due to high winds and rain.

The April 13th performance was a benefit concert for the Museo Alameda del Smithsonian in San Antonio.

Ronstadt managed to get through her ranchero hits “Los Laureles” and “Por Un Amor,” backed by Mariachi Los Camperos, before taking cover from the unseasonable weather.

The storms across Texas were blamed for at least one death, and injured five while causing significant damage to buildings around the Fort Worth area. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
