LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is preparing to close its doors in order to make way for a brand new venue, also to be called The Joint.
Inheriting its name from the original Hard Rock venue, the new Joint was designed by Montreal-based architectural design firm Scéno Plus. The new venue will have a capacity of 4,000, offer seven VIP hospitality suites and feature an innovative sound and lighting system and offer double the space of the current Joint.

The $60 million Joint will be part of the ongoing $750 million expansion at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The project broke ground in 2007 and is slated for completion in late 2009.
The expansion will include the addition of approximately 860 guest rooms, including an all-suite 15-story south tower, a new 17-story north tower, approximately 60,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, and approximately 30,000 square feet of casino space. In addition, the project includes the expansion of the Hard Rock's award-winning pool, several new restaurants and bars, a new nightclub, multiple new retail outlets, as well as a new spa and health club. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
