Tommy Lee Sits Out Crüe Show

MANCHESTER, UK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Mötley Crüe drummer, Tommy Lee had to sit out the last date of the band's European tour at the Apollo in Manchester, UK on June 12th. The cancellation came as the result of a shoulder injury that the drummer suffered while playing in a show at the Hammersmith.

Lee's spot was ably filled by Will Hunt who has previously filled in for Lee during some U.S. dates the band played in April. He has also filled in for the injured drummer in a Crüe tribute band, Bröken Töyz in addition to backing Lee in his solo band.

The band's tour is winding down, with only a handful of additional shows before going on hiatus with rumors swirling about a possible album in the works. According to band member Nikki Sixx "We love to play live. There's only two more shows for us and we won't be playing again until sometime next year, maybe '09, depending on how it goes on making a record." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
