VerveLife Readies For Aggressive Expansion

CHICAGO, IL (Hypebot) –
Chicago based VerveLife, a provider of music services and technologies to global brands and record companies, has hired James A. von Kreuter to head a new corporate finance team. He will serve as EVP Finance, and be responsible for negotiating strategic partnerships, joint ventures and acquisitions. Past and current VerveLife clients that include Axe, Coca-Cola, Energizer Schick and General Mills.

Von Kreuter joins VerveLife from Headwaters MB, an investment bank where he ran the gaming, entertainment, and leisure group. He has been an investment banker and financial consultant to companies in the media, entertainment, gaming, technology, consumer products, and general industrial sectors and has been responsible for raising over $4.5 billion of debt and equity capital.

“VerveLife provides the perfect opportunity to meld twenty-plus years of investment banking experience with music, something I’m truly passionate about. I’ve been a musician all my life, starting with the obligatory piano lessons, then to the guitar, a skill I passed to my son who has become much better than I’ll ever be!” says Jim. “But the VerveLife opportunity is much bigger than that. They’re the best in the business when it comes to creating and delivering music-centric campaigns for brands. They’ve had the attention of institutional investors for a couple years, so now it’s time to take this business to the next level.”
