NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) — Digital music veteran Evan Harrison has been named as CEO of Huka Entertainment, the company behind festivals such as the Pemberton Music Festival in British Columbia and The Hangout Music Festival in Alabama.
According to Billboard, Harrison's new portfolio will include oversight of day-to-day operations of the company during what is expected to be a period of growth.
Harrison has served in a number of senior digital music roles over the course of his career, including the first head of digital marketing for BMG, head of music and radio at AOL, and President of Digital at Clear Channel.
Harrison told Billboard that Huka has five new festival projects in development, and is "likely to roll out one or two new ones in '16." – Staff Writers
