ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) — Atlanta’s historic Fox Theatre announced the date for the grand opening of their brand new Marquee Club, a premium space for use by patrons during public performances at the venue.
The 10,000 square-feet Marquee Club is located on the on the northeast side of the theater and will have access to rooftop terraces that will be open for the first time in decades, providing views of the venue’s iconic marquee and Atlanta’s Peachtree Street.
The decor of the venue is influenced strongly by the art deco period of the theater’s past and includes elements drawn from Moorish, Arabic, and Art Nouveau architecture.
The Marquee will also feature seating and personal guest services for patrons during shows.
Originally scheduled to debut in the fall of 2017, the Marquee Club is now expected to be complete by the end of April, Adina Erwin, Fox Theatre’s vice president and chief operating officer, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
A ceremonial grand opening for inaugural members is scheduled for Thursday, May 17, with non-member access launching Saturday, May 19.
