NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) Bruce Springsteen and Eric Church are a few of the names headlining the annual Stand Up for Heroes fundraiser in New York this year.
The annual comedy event that benefits injured veterans and their families will take place at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden Nov. 5. Other names on the list are Seth Meyers, Jon Stewart, Jim Gaffigan and Jimmy Carr.
Stand Up For Heroes began in 2007. The event is produced by the New York Comedy Festival is was founded by Caroline Hirsch, Andrew Fox and ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff, the latter nearly killed in an attack in Iraq in 2006. Woodruff says the event is a chance to “put aside our differences” to “honor those who have and continue to sacrifice so much.”
